La Inaudible Historia de México

An ironic and irreverent overview of Mexican history, as seen and told –without words—by Seña y Verbo’s own Deaf actors. Miguel Hidalgo (“father of the nation”), the eagle and the serpent, Cortés and Moctezuma, the Adelitas (revolutionary women), the narcos (organized crime), the “Mexican” swine-flu epidemic, the penalization of abortion and human sacrifice in general are but some of the subjects that intermix, in a thoroughly equivocal and anachronistic fashion, in these delirious and incredibly funny stories. Stories overflowing with love, violence, lust and every other passions that has brewed Mexico’s complex and complicated national history.
